Week 84 Overview

Another week has gone!
This week was quite busy, resulting in a delay in posting the recap.
First off, we had some speculation on the FMS from tmatt about some features we could add to it and a few features we could change. [click]

Week 83 Overview

Hey everyone!
Another busy week here at OWF. It seems the addition of deadlines and meetings was just the push we needed to get the project back in motion. It’s funny, but with an open project, you have to shift gears from time to time. In the past, meetings and deadlines have not always been as successful. It’s just a matter of always being willing to adjust your system until it works.

March 28, 2009 Meeting Summary

Great meeting everyone! This bi-monthly, all-day meeting schedule has been working wonders! I think we’ve accomplished more in the last few weeks because of this than any other thing.
1.) SAM system (simple assignment management)
In general, it seems almost everyone is in support of the idea of offering a simple assignment system for non-registered members and casual contributors. Tictoon Tutorial: Stamping

Note: you may have noticed a similar tutorial on the Blender Noob to Pro wikibook. I assure I was the author of the page and this tutorial is 100% original.
Stamping in blender is a rendering option. A stamp on a render can prevent that render from being lost, keeping your project organized, and keeping your files organized.

Nia Concept Art (Assorted Selections)

This post contains a selection of concept art dealing with the character Nia. This post is not all-inclusive, it does include some of the more recognizable art among our members. The sketches are provided by Travellingmatt, and the 3D Concept render was provided by CJ Maynard. There have been a number of different variations of this character, including blue skin.
